(More customer reviews)Was a gift for folks who just moved into a new home that has a pool.I've gotten these type of mechanical fish before for my pool and usually you just unscrew the battery compartment, put the batteries in and turn it on.With this one the batteries did not fit well, I had to move the metal contacts to make it work - glad I opened it and tried it before giving it as a gift!
