(More customer reviews)I was really excited about this after I saw it written about on BoingBoing a while back, so for Christmas I got 2 boxes for my girlfriend's kids.
First, each box is one use. Just so you're clear on that. $15 for a single use product.
Second, I guess Europeans have way smaller bathtubs than in the US? The amount of water called for to use one box is very small. I don't have the packaging anymore and you'll notice it's not mentioned in the description, but I believe a full box is for use with under 20 gallons of water. That's a pretty small bath. I think this stuff would be lots of fun if made in a sink or a washtub or something like that but to fill a proper bath you'd need 3 boxes. I had the kids fill to the bare minimum to basically stay warm, and it didn't turn to goo, more like chunky water. Interesting, but pretty underwhelming to the kids considering the reaction I expected.
I'm sure the product performs as advertised if used in the correct proportions. I'm just letting everyone know what to expect - very small quantities of water or very large quantities of Gelli Baff (and money).
