(More customer reviews)I received the Numbers and Shapes set as a gift and my 18 month old loves them so much, I am going to purchase more kits by this manufacturer. They're not stickers, though; they're big chunky foam things that stick to the tub when wet.
I know it says for 3 years and up but of course I never take my eyes off my baby for a second in the tub, and there are only two small circles that might be small enough to worry about anyway. They mustn't taste good because she only chewed on them once, so I know the foam is very durable as she did no damage. I've bought expensive bath toys that she never really cared about, but she was immediately excited when she saw these (probably because I had previously introduced numbers and shapes in books and DVDs, but never anything she could grab onto). Now she runs to the tub saying "triangle" and "two" which I guess is her favorite shape and number for some reason. But anyway she can count to five which I suppose is pretty good for age and she recognizes all the numbers up to ten and knows most of the shapes (still working on hexagon). I think this toy has played a major part in her learning and she's having fun. Who could ask for more?
My only complaint, which is relatively minor, is that the suction cups don't really stick too well on my tub or tile. Could just be my tub, or tile, or that suction cups hate me since I've always had problems with the stupid things. Anyway. The bag holds the numbers in one place and allows them to drain and dry and that's all I care about.
