(More customer reviews)Yes, there are few instructions on how to assemble and the company could do a better job. That said I went back online and enlarged the image shown right here at amazon, which was sufficient to put all the parts in the right place. The joints are actually explained in a little picture insert -- easy. If I -- a female college grad with no handyman experience -- can do it in 30 min. so can you. Don't be put off by the first review. It's a really great toy and our six-year-old twins love it. They even helped with the assembly and placed the locks and the crane in the right places.
